What if you can’t fix my problem?

If beyond our scope, we may refer work to a license contractors. This is to ensue you get the value and solution you need and not a simple quick fix with long term pain. This would only happen with the approval of YOU and we would help coordinate the handoff and ensure you get at least 10% of their quoted price. This would also be done prior to starting any work on your task. No reason to waste your time.

Does my plan include products?

Your subscription covers all the labor for the tasks included in your plan. You only pay for the parts.

For example, if you need a new toilet installed, your membership covers the labor to remove the old one and install the new one at no extra charge. You just pay for the cost of the new toilet and any necessary parts.

As part of your service, we will also:

  • Help you find the best new toilet and ensure you get a 10% discount on the product.

  • Pick up the new toilet and parts for you, as long as the store is within 20 miles of your home.

What if I never use my service?

We built our company on the idea that you should have peace of mind. Your subscription guarantees we're here when you need us, but sometimes, a quiet year is a great year.

If you don’t use any of your included time by the end of your term, we'll give you two great options to choose from:

  • Option 1: Get money back. We’ll refund you 10% of your total contract price. We believe in rewarding you for a smooth year.

  • Option 2: Stay protected and save more. This is our favorite option because it ensures you’re still covered. You can renew your current plan for another year at 20% off, or upgrade to a more robust plan for 30% off the advertised price. Plus, we'll let you roll over all your unused time from the previous year.

What if my “task” is not a service included in my plan, can you still fix it?

Our work is overseen and signed off by a licensed contractor, ensuring quality and accountability for your needs.

If a task falls outside of your service agreement, we will give you an upfront quote that meets or beats any other licensed professional's price. Since your plan already includes labor hours, you may only need to pay for any specific parts or products required.

In the rare event we are unable to resolve an issue, we will help you find the right professional to address it, and we can secure you a 10% discount on their services.

What if I need more time, more hours, more help?

We got you! Perhaps your list was a bit more extensive than when you signed up, or perhaps tasks continued to build up—no worries. As a valued member, we provide a substantially discounted rate on additional hours.

Our Home Essentials members receive a discounted rate of 35% off our non-member price of $169/hour, while savings increase up to 45% off for our Platinum members.

Is this the same as a home warranty ?

Q: Does my Servir LLC Membership replace the need for a Home Warranty?

No. They serve two very different purposes and often work best together.

  • Servir LLC is for Proactive Care: We handle the long list of small tasks, preventative maintenance (like cleaning gutters, replacing filters, sealing windows), and minor repairs that keep your home running efficiently. Our goal is to prevent the breakdowns.

  • A Home Warranty is for Reactive Repair: Warranties are financial tools designed to cover a percentage of the high cost of replacing major systems (like an A/C unit or furnace) after it has failed.

By using Servir LLC for preventative maintenance, you reduce the chances of a system failure that would require a warranty claim.

Q: A Home Warranty may have an additional hidden service fee for covered repairs. Does Servir LLC have service fees?

Simply put NO. You pay up front or monthly and that’s it!

  • Home Warranty: You pay a service call fee (typically $75−$125) every time a technician comes out, even if the issue is denied coverage or if the part is not covered. This is the cost to file a claim.

  • Servir LLC: Your monthly membership fee covers your scheduled service hours and specific benefits. For any work outside of your included hours, members receive significantly discounted labor rates or flat-rate pricing, with no surprise "claim fees."

Q: What about pre-existing conditions?

This is a major point of difference:

  • Home Warranty: They often exclude coverage for issues that stem from a lack of maintenance, or for systems that were already malfunctioning before the policy started (pre-existing conditions). This is a common reason for denied claims.

  • Servir : We are designed to address and repair those maintenance-related issues. Our proactive checks identify problems early, eliminating the "pre-existing condition" loophole before it ever becomes a major failure.

Q: I want to install a new light fixture or build a shelf. Which service handles that?

Your Servir LLC Membership!

  • Servir : We perform upgrades, improvements, and all general handyman tasks (assembly, mounting, custom shelving, trim work, etc.). These are the tasks that enhance the look and functionality of your home.

  • Home Warranty: Warranties do not cover improvements, upgrades, or general maintenance. They only cover repairs to existing systems that have stopped working due to normal wear and tear.

Q: Servir sounds like the proactive approach. How does this save me money in the long run?
